I hate Christmas, I have for years, but I LOVE giving presents, probably more so than receiving them. Yeah yeah, I’m a weirdo…I know. I have a secret Pinterest board that I use for gift ideas throughout the year – I REALLY recommend doing that if you want to avoid the last minute “shit-what-do-I-get-so-and-so” dilemma – and a public board with things on my wishlist, that I add to far less.
Because the weather this Saturday was so abysmal, I spent an hour or so falling down a Pinterest hole and found a ton of fun things, which I thought I’d share with you in an attempt to inspire your gift buying or serve as inspiration as to what you can buy me if you feel so inclined…you are SO welcome.

If you’ve not yet heard of Away, it won’t be long before you do. Spearheaded by uber cool entrepreneurs, Jen Rubio and Steph Korey (both formally of Warby Parker and seriously inspiring women), you know that this brand is going to be a winner. These are investment pieces (though frankly the prices are pretty reasonable when you look at what you get and how long it will last you) but the carry on has the ability to charge your phone…seriously. It’s amazing.
Wolf & Badger’s Gold Hoop Earrings
I’ve been aware of Wolf & Badger for a while now but never properly shopped from them but I can’t help finding things I want on their site at the moment. I’ve been looking for some reminiscent-of-the-90s-early-noughties-but-more-stylish hoop earrings for a while now and these bad boys fit the bill perfectly. They are made by KIND jewellery and are 100% handmade in London.
Kikki K Life Planner
Ok, hands up. I’m a sucker for shit like this because I LOVE stationery. And yes, I will most likely only look at it a few times when I initially get it and then it’ll sit on a shelf but I still feel I NEED this Kikki K planner. If you’ve not heard of Kikki K and are in to your stationery then off with your head, they are dreamy. I could happily own almost everything in that shop. They recently opened one in Kingston (near where I live) and it’s a serious test of willpower to avoid going in every time. I’ll stop fan girling now.
M&S Dressing Gown
I was probably sold on this one because it’s part of the Rosie for Autograph range at M&S (Rosie Huntington Whiteley that is…hello girl crush) but I really need a new dressing gown. I got a White Company one a couple of year’s ago but a) white is never a good idea for a notorious klutz like me and b) dogs with dirty paws…need I say more. I was also really disappointed with how it was made – it snagged really easily and looked really weathered very quickly. The M&S one however looks deliciously cosy and it has a hood…a HOOD. I work from home and in the cold winter months, this is probably a necessity.
On my last day in New York last month, I had lunch with my old boss, AJ. Post-lunch I joined her to a clog shop in Little Italy where she purchased some beautiful shoes. The spender in me at the time debated trying on (and probably buying) a pair of my own but I had packed my suitcase earlier that day and knew that trying to squeeze anything else in to either hand luggage or my suitcase would’ve been far too much effort. It was one of my biggest regrets of the trip. I picked these for this post but there were quite a few pairs I had my eye on – the shearling boots for winter would probably be at the top of that list right now. The Outnet have a few pairs on sale right now so now is the time to grab yourself a bargain!
Rockett St. George Cinema Style Message Board
I have no idea where I would put this but I feel like my home would benefit from having it there. Inspirational messages of the month, notes to fellow Sims abode residents, reminders…they would all look so pretty. Rockett St George have a ton of stuff I’m loving right now – be warned!
Etsy Grammar T-Shirt
Etsy is such a great place to get great gifts. It’s almost my first stop now. They have lots of sellers that make t-shirts like this but for any grammar & spelling enthusiasts, this is an easy win.
Round 2 of gift ideas coming soon (especially as I’ve now taught myself how to make images like this clickable…so proud).
